T&T1Solving Three Common Web Test Automation Problems
Wednesday, 3:45pm - 4:15pm

Track:

People writing web automation tests often run in to three problems when trying to get started: JavaScript interfering with events on the page, dynamic elements not yet loaded on the page, and dynamic content not yet loaded in to existing elements. These issues are more and more common as web applications continue to evolve and make more use of JavaScript and dynamic content via AJAX and other similar technologies.
This talk will walk you through exactly how and why these problems show up, then demonstrate how to deal with each in a stable, maintainable fashion. Demonstrations will be in a mix of C#, Ruby, JavaScript, Selenium, and Telerik’s Test Studio; however, the concepts and solutions discussed apply to any web testing toolset.
