The complexity and challenges of Testing have been growing exponentially, disrupted by business need to release very frequently, complex integrations and big-data.
Testing has responded with focusing on CI and CD, merging test with dev, canary testing and heavy quality monitoring.
The challenges ahead of us are even more mind-blowing– internet of things, too many configurations to test (e.g. Android), systems fully driven by artificial intelligence, software-driven medicine, private data as a currency, etc.
In my talk I will examine the modern trends in Testing and analyze the key vectors for the Testing to be successful in upcoming years.
In particular – emerging of standards of Testing frameworks and tooling, including powered by AI; ahead-of-the-game development of best-practices (e.g. ISTQB further evolution); modern test maturity model(s), test architectures and test architects, open-source culture, new meaning of Test Management and Test Managers, etc.
Is Testing ready for these challenges? Let’s discuss…
